SERVICES

Tweed Coast Protective Services can assist you with the following services;

Escort
To safely see staff off the premises and to their vehicles at the end of trading.
Prevents staff from being held up or assaulted as they leave at night.
This is a good OH & S practice.

Lock-ups and Openings
Security guards close or open premises. A very useful service for businesses such as resorts (pools), laundromats and shopping centres. This is to ensure that the doors and windows of premises are securely locked. Surprisingly, people do leave their premises unlocked at times when they depart.

Alarm monitoring
A back to base service. People arm their alarm systems before leaving. If an intruder breaks in, PIR beams (invisible light) are broken. This triggers an alarm siren and our monitoring company receives an alert. They call security patrols immediately to go and investigate the cause of the alarm. Having this service should reduce the cost of your insurance.

Late to Close response
If a monitored alarm has not been set by a pre-determined time, a security guard is dispatched to investigate whether the occupants of the premises are safe. Occupants may have been ‘held up’ by thieves and possibly tied up onsite.

Tag up
Similar to patrol. Mobile guards will check that doors to a premises are secure and leave a security tag in doors to show that they have been checked. Electronic attendance verification.

Static guarding
Security staff will supervise functions and are available to provide security to an unsecure site, e.g. if a roller door has been damaged or glass doors or windows smashed due to ‘break and enter’ situations.

Staff welfare checks
Patrol will call in and check on the welfare of staff throughout the night. Useful for businesses such as nursing homes, adult centres, hotels or other businesses who trade throughout the night.

Alarm Servicing
To ensure that the alarm system is working correctly. Batteries in alarm systems need to be replaced periodically. Occasionally, parts of an alarm system, such as PIR’s will need replacement due to age or damage.

Alarm Response
A security guard is dispatched immediately in cases where a PIR has indicated movement in the premises.

Cash in transit services
Cash is collected from the premises by a security guard and delivered safely to a designated bank.
This is a much safer option than asking a member of staff to take cash for banking

Patrol
Mobile security guards check that premises are secure throughout the night. If premises are not found secure, guards will secure the premises if possible or advise the key holder of the situation. Electronic attendance verification.
